About the Role
As the Equity Investment Analyst at SNW Capital, you will hold a pivotal role in researching and analyzing equity securities, propelling our student-led hedge fund's investment decisions. Your insights and recommendations will be integral in guiding portfolio management and contributing to our fund's overall success. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Equity Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of companies, industries, and market trends, unearthing potential investment opportunities that align with our fund's objectives.
- Financial Modelling: Develop and maintain intricate financial models, assessing equity valuation, performance, and future projections, inclusive of sensitivity analyses.
- Strategic Recommendations: Articulate well-justified investment recommendations to our student-led hedge fund's leadership, grounded in your analysis of financial statements, industry data, and prevailing market conditions.
- Portfolio Oversight: Collaborate in monitoring the performance of our equity portfolio, adeptly identifying emerging risks and opportunities, and proactively proposing adjustments as required.

Requirements
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
Enrolment: Currently enrolled as a student (bachelors or masters) at any top university.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret financial statements, conduct financial modelling, and perform in-depth equity research.
Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of financial markets, investment principles, and equity valuation techniques.
Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts and investment recommendations to team members.
